The Bible's Book of Revelation applied

to 2,000 years ago, not today
The Book of Revelation was written for that time period (approx. 68 AD).  It has nothing to do with today. It is not a fortune telling book. We determine the future by the choices we make in life. The Bible's Book of Revelation uses broad, metaphoric grammar common in early writings of that time period.
There is no end of the world coming

The Book of Revelation was apparently written to promote the overthrow of Nero Caesar, whose name was spelled "666" in the Old Hebrew number/letter style. On page 1514 of the Study Edition of the New King James Version of the Holy Bible we find the following:

"The Hebrew letters for Nero Caesar (Neron Kesar) add up to 666, the number of the beast (13:18)"
In Revelation, why would they use Nero Caesar's number/letter writing style? During the days of the Roman Empire no one was allowed to speak out against the emperor. To advocate a rebellion would warrant a death sentence. It was highly illegal. Thus, it would only make sense for a possible rebellion to use Nero's name translated into the Old Hebrew number/letter style.

Nero Caesar (Neron Kesar) translates into "666"
in the old number/letter writing style

Notice how we don't find any writings which openly promote rebellions against the pagan Roman Empire? If there were any, they have been destroyed and the writers executed.

In the Roman Empire life was simple; you could do pretty much whatever you wanted, except you couldn't speak out against the Roman authorities, nor could you talk about overthrowing Ceasar. The penalty for that was death. It was simple. There was no Freedom of Speech.

During the days of the Roman empire, JudeoChristians wanting to break away from their immoral Roman rulers couldn't write;

"Hey everyone, get your weapons and meet at the front gate to attack the Romans on Thursday."
Whoever wrote such a document would be immediately put to death by Roman soldiers. Therefore, when JudeoChristians began to create a revolution in 68 AD, they wrote the Book of Revelation using analogies and pseudonym names for Caesar, calling him "the beast" and using 666 to specifically point out who he was (using the old number writing style). Revelation is not a book about 2,000 years in the future, nor is it about 100 years in the future. It was a revolutionary document written for that time period to help start the revolution that historical records show occurred between 68 and 70 AD.

Was Nero Caesar a "beast" as the Book of Revelation defines him in analogy form? He certainly acted like one. He killed everyone, including his own family, just like a wild beast.

JudeoChristianity is not supposed to be superstitious. It is supposed to promote love, forgiveness, friendship, and equality under the law.
